Vintage Ament/Kemp signed poster on Ball Don't Lie blog

"Back in 1994, you either wanted to be Shawn Kemp or a grunge star. In fact, the best basketball player in the history of my high school, used to rock his version of Kemp's kinda sorta flat-top. Considering he was a freckled redhead, this was an ill-advised choice. All the rest of us? We were wearing flannel. Needless to say, if we had been able to get our hands on this Shawn Kemp/Jeff Ament (bassist for Pearl Jam) poster back at age 10, we would have.
But here's the great thing about the Internet, we can have it now at age 25. For only a $500 mark-up, it's a steal. Originally a promotional item from the early 90s (obviously), the seller saw to it to have the poster signed by arguably the greatest sweatpants-wearing dunker of all time, and one of the guys responsible for that generation's Rolling Stones. Pretty smart thinking, if you ask me.
Yeah, the price is a little steep, but nostalgia is pretty great."
