The only other place I've seen this, besides Ebay, was at a Record Store in Oceanside, CA back in 2000, but they wanted $150.00 for it. :(

  • I have this. With the advent of mp3's since I bought it, I figured it was completely worthless. I remember buying it in a cramped, old back alley record store in the French Quarter, New Orleans. I was only like 16 at the time, and the record store owner asked if I was a big PJ fan. I said Yeah, and he claimed that Vedder used to come into the store when in New Orleans. Probably bc it was named after a Who song.

I also have a box set called "Bridges". Anyone else have that? I've never really seen it any other place other than mentioned on torrent sites, and the very rare ebay listing. Back when I was trading tapes, no one ever believed this thing was real, so I always had to take pictures of it to prove it. I can't remember much that is on it, but I remember it had the original Brain of J (ie. "Brain of JFK"), and I thought it ruled. Think it came out around late '95 or '96. Again, bought it in New Orleans.

Yeah, it was. I remember that. Lots of cool "health club" imagery and fun items. I remember that old paper model Vitalogy Health Club ambulance. I think I still have it.

Yeah, everything on it is easily available via mp3s these days. It's just a matter of being a collector at this point when it comes to those old boots. I think I bought it for $90 back in '95-'96, whenever it was that I got it.

I sent $$$ to some kid from Mnt Pleasant SC back in '97 for the Bridges box set and he totally ripped me off. I'm still pissed about it to this day. I do have the H. Recipe box set.

  • I'm a collector of those old boots. Been slowly accumulating them over the last 15 yrs. I usually only buy the ones with full shows. Not the compilations. I am always searching for more in case anyone wants to part with them. The Longest Day is one that has continuously eluded me. :D
