SG back together?

My friend is a huge Soundgarden fan. He said they have signed to do a new record and tour this summer. Anyone hear about this and if so what about Matt? I mean Jack is great....but he's no Matt. and we all know that Dave A or K will never be asked back....so what gives?

There have been rumours swirling about this for a while now...Still not sure Jack would come out of retirement to tour even if asked. Doesnt he suffer from depression of some sort? One of the reasons he quit right? Just guessing, but thought I read that somewhere....Carry on! :-)
