Barack Obama will not win re-election.

Even though I am not a fan, he will not win due to the actions of others. I don't agree with most of his policies, but I will give him a partial credit due to his addition of troops to Afghanistan. I don't agree with his setting a departure date there though.
Now start phasing those troops out of Iraq.
But he will not win re-election, assuming he decides to seek it, because of people like Nancy Pelosi. I believe that the GOP has been given new life, new energy, and the people have woke up from the slumber. This administration and Congress has put us in debt for generations, with no end in sight for the spending to stop.
This country needs a change indeed, not at the Presidency, but at the Congressional level. We need to enact term limits, two consecutive terms, now. If the people decide to re-elect someone after a one term break then the people have spoken. We can no longer afford ten term Senators, from either party. Politics is now big business, from both sides, and the people of this country no longer hold the power. We, the people, need change or we will be lost. This country needs to find its identity again, and the current players will not allow that to happen.
This country needs to find its sovereignty again, we are too involved in policing the world and not enough taking care of ourselves. We need to become selfish that we declare home our #1 priority. We need to concern ourselves with the USA. We need to stop depending on shit goods made in China that endanger our families. STOP shopping at fucking Wal-Mart!!!!
You want to stimulate this economy? Shop locally owned stores as much as possible. So you have to pay an extra $.05 for a bottle of shampoo, so what. Have some pride in your community. Go volunteer for an organization that is not affiliated with a certain political party.
Have some self esteem. Help someone who deserves it, who truly needs it, not because they are too lazy. Not because they refuse to contribute or help themselves.
What positives have been made out of the last year? Personally I can't find anything. Well I guess Bush is no longer in that office, but really the Presidency has become a puppet act anyway.

you're the reason i hate the tea parties.
debt... THIS admin did it. we'll be in debt forever just becos of this admin... nevermind that we've been piling it up non-stop over the last 20 years... mainly thanks to republicans. only under clinton did we even make any steps towards doing otherwise. but reagan and bush sr ballooned our debt to mind-blowing levels, and dubya took it even further. yet it's all THIS admin's fault that we have debt. that evil obama, taking our balanced budget and turning it into a nightmarish debt with his socialism
i agree with term limits and buying local and putting us first instead of meddling constantly in the affairs of other countries.
as to positives, there have been few... stem cell research reversal, draw downs in iraq, the economic freefall has stopped and is slowly moving back up, a push for new technologies and energy policy to keep us on the dge in the years ahead. is it a lot? no. but i'll take a few positives and little else over new negatives every day like we had the last 8 years. give me a candidate that can do more and i'll get on board.0 -
Is your avatar George W. Obama?0

don't you find it funny that his withdrawal from Iraq is around election time. i think Obama is trying to hard to make everyone happy. lets send more troops into afgan (so that the right wing is happy) but lets also put a timetable for withdrawal (so that the left is happy)0 -

If either of the two major parties win the election, everyone is a loser.CONservative governMENt
Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis0 -

i still don't know if he will win the next election to tell the truth. the biggest issues in all honesty is teh economy. he is losing alot of ind. support and that is the reason he won the last election. if the rep. elect a person who is old school conservative (meaning, get gov. out of our bedroom and our lives) they might be able to win.0 -

Why don't we wait a couple years and see where the country is then instead of claiming he is not going to win reelection, 11 months into 4 year job.0

It's funny how people jump on the "anti-current president's re-election" years from when it will actually happen. It's like all we know how to do is put people down. I'm no fan of Obama's either, but I'm open minded enough to not make any promises, nor predictions of what may happen 3 years from now. NO ONE truly knows what will happen right now, regarding the country's future.0

Soooo he's not going to get re-elected because he did something he said all along in his campaign that he would do? Turning the focus to Afghanistan? Jesus. The short memory of some.0

common sense award goes to you my friend. some people here are nuts!0 -
Vote for him
Don't vote for him
I don't care
But I would suggest that you wait a few years before deciding, he still has 3 years and 1+month in office, not even 25% done. Coming off the brink of a second depression and the light at the end of the tunnel being a long way away.... too many things can change
That is like saying that in 2012 you are going to have pizza on November 4th. Who is to say you are going to still want this then.**CUBS GO ALL THE WAY IN......never **0 -
three years is a long time, so much can happen, good things. and that's not counting those that have already happened which ss has mentioned already.
assuming gitmo shuts down. every detainee is either tried fairly or released.
we know there's going to be a massive overhaul of the healthcare system.
we get the hell out of iraq next year as is being promised
hopefully afghanistan (again, a possibility)
dow keeps rising as it is. foreclosure rate keeps dropping, the economy keeps going up and up and up and...
bush will be more hated than he is right now, and people will be lining up to kiss obamas ass, and pretending that they loved him all along.
i can play the 'what if game too', and some of the things i mentioned are going to happen and are happening now. to say he will not be re elected three years out is just ridiculous. who knows what the next three years will bring.0
