The Doors' debut had the last song called "The End". Wasn't their last.

  • Actually, technically, the last song on Abbey Road was "Her Majesty." It's not the end of anything. They had a song called Last Exit, too. And Parting Ways.

Well, Abbey Road had "Her Majesty"... a throwaway song that kind of popped up as a hidden track on Abbey Road.

And, as I'm sure you know, Let It Be was the final Beatles album released (May 1970) even though the most of the recording was done before the recording and release of Abbey Road (released September 1969).

If Phil Spector comes in as producer for the next album and puts a lot of orchestral overdubs on the tunes, THEN I'd be concerned! ;)

Why the fuck would they want to end it?? Its a tough job to be as good as they are on a night to night basis ...but come on!!! Best gig in the world, and they know it

I think there is a good 8-10yrs(3-4 albums) before this discussion can begin. If they made it out of the mid 90's, they can deal with the other obligations they have and make it work

PJ will go on for years yet. Mike said so. This is a moot point, that they are going to end. I dont want to see another negative thread on when they're going to end it all. They have a lot of life left in them yet, I have no doubt in my mind after seeing them 4 times this tour. And lots more songs to write.
