Satan's Bed Meaning?

Could Satan's bed really be about the core of what PJ stand for? I feel it's about the music industry and how you can take an easy route and sell out with "easy/crap" songs. The description of how you make a band by getting "some flesh to stick so they look like us" - style over content ideas. Plus the whole Bill Hicks reference, crap boy bands are "suckers of Satan's dick each and every last one of them". When Eddie professes he won't suck it, he is saying he won't sell-out. Note how at the beginning he says that "satan" visits and always seems to fit in - it would be easy to make mediocre music and sell out but the fine men of Pearl Jam just won't do it...

Anybody else got views or even the "real" interpretation?

I think I read somewhere that the part of flesh sticking and that area of the song was about models.... such fine example skinny little bitch... model, role model, roll some models in blood, get some flesh to stick so they look like us, i shit and i stink i'm real join the club.... models are skinny and beauitful and they act like because they are beautiful they are better than everyone and their shit don't stink... I'm sure I read that somewhere.....
  • I've always thought that Satan's Bed is about the temptations he felt about being with other women while on the road... but I could be wrong.
