Does it genuinely surprise you that other people have different opinions about this? Either way, I wouldn't suggest taking anything on an internet chat board personally.

I voted for Backspacer 2nd & Binaural 3rd. If Sad & Fatal were on Binaural, it would be 1st. Instead we got Breakerfall & Evacuation. Such a curious decision - Sad & Light Years go together great.

Right. It's all preference. I just don't understand why it seems like people think their opinion is the "right" one. I'm not specifically talking about the guy above, but rather the offense that people seem to take when someone disagrees with which album is "better." Which, lets face it, is only a different way of saying "I like this album more than that one." Like being equal to "personally prefer."

Albums (5 star ranking):
1. Backspacer (**** 1/2)
2. Avocado (****)
3. Binaural (*** 1/2)
4. Riot Act (***)
Just a note on the albums....IMO Binaural should have been a contender. The sessions as a whole were brilliant. But, IMO, the band left off many of the best songs (Sad, Fatal, Education) and the production, particularly on the rockers (Grievance) are lacking. This album could have been their best of the decade with a little tweaking.

1. The End
2. Sad
3. Nothing As It Seems
4. Just Breathe
5. Force of Nature

Bottom 5:
1. Sweet Lew
2. God's Dice
3. Hitchhiker

5. Bushleaguer
HM: Evacuation, Rival, Cropduster, Ghost, Help Help.

Yes it genuinley suprises me. My opinion is the only one that matters, and anyone with a different one is clearly on some kind of hallucinogen.

Touche, good sir. Touche.
And Johnny A, nice job with the tabulations. I really enjoy these. Have another one planned?

Thanks. For another thing, maybe we can rank all the songs on Avocado. The combination of real heavy songs and ballads would make thing interesting.
We could do best albums/songs of the 90s, but that'd be much harder, I'm afraid.
In the meantime, I'm enjoying Love Boat Admiral's tourney.

IMO- Big Wave, SOS, Supersonic and Parachutes don't deserve to be on the worst (but not on the best either).
Insert; NAIS, Grievance, Love Boat Captain and Get Right
