Satan's bed and its origins

I think it was in the Kim Neely book that I read about the Shannen Doherty issue in the 1990s, I never heard about it before. There are some supposed Vedder comments on this at Five Horizons (http://www.fivehorizons.com/archive/articles/ihb.shtml), but it sounds a bit strange to me that he's spending som much quotes on this little ms.Evil. Anyway, it must have been around the MTV VMA in 1992 when the band played Jeremy.

It seems quite obvious that her behavior, and that of some other female celebs, led to the Vitalogy song Satan's Bed. I think it was also the Kim Neely book that I read about models dying for Vedder's attention during the 1993 Rome concerts.

    really? i have a pj bio where ed says they weren't ready to tell the world what animal was about but he would in a couple of years... I WANTED DETAILS FOR YEARS!!!

    Well, I think user Snoopy Died For Our Sins is making a joke with the piglet.... :)

    To me, the meaning of the Animal-song is still between 'them' against the media and/or the rape-accuse of those days....
