    Nice, those news pieces from the 1990s.
    If I remember well, Vedder's version of the story was that he was provoked by someone who wouldn't stop bothering him.

    Correct..there was a 'fan' wouldnt leave ed alone and kept insisting that he and Kurt werent his messiahs and ed was trying to make him realise thats what he'd been saying the whole time but it escalated, ed spat in the guys face, the bouncer knocked the baseball player out and the asshole fan sued ed for $3million.

    Ed speaks about it at length(but mentions hes not meant to be talking about it at all) in a very over dramatic interview with melody maker magazine in 1994. That interview is the most asshole, 'poor me' whiney interview I've ever seen Ed give. it's horrible.
