"We're kinda doing a mashup of stuff," the guitarist tells Billboard. "A bit of 'Baba O'Riley,' a bit of 'Pinball Wizard,' a bit of the close of 'Tommy,' a bit of 'Who Are You,' and a bit of 'Won't Get Fooled Again.' It works -- it's quite a saga. A lot of the stuff that we do has that kind of celebratory vibe about it -- we've always tried to make music that allows the audience to go a bit wild if they want to. Hopefully it will hit the spot."

Yes, they've done very well at targeting their main audience. All that pop shit they were doing before was lost on the majority of football fans. But you forgot to mention Prince, he fucking rocked that shit, esp with that guitar solo on Purple Rain.
Twenty-ten watch it go to fire!!!

I wish Pete hadn't revealed the setlist to us yet. Still, I'm looking forward to their performance.

It's TOO BAD you can't find a video clip of that Super Bowl performance anywhere on You Tube or in fact ANY live classic video performance of PRINCE. His SB performance on Purple Rain was amazing as was his show in Hollywood, Florida that same year.

Unfortunately it's NOT him pulling down to clips/videos it's Warner Brother's who own the rights to all that music from those albums. Why they're doing so heaven only knows because PRINCE can truly play the geetar and any other instrument in his band. He's an amazing artist indeed.
