NME's top 100 tracks of the decade
Not a bad list. Don't like their choice for #1 though. Sorry no PJ songs made it. :x I'm into the alternative/indy scene a lot, so about 75% the songs on here I've heard or have.

Fortunately, I use my own judgement in what music is best which is just as well as this list is mostly dog shit. Mostly.
1996: Ft Lauderdale
1998: Birmingham
2000: Charlotte, Tampa
2003: Tampa, Atlanta, Phoenix
2004: Kissimmee
2008: West Palm Beach, Bonnaroo, Columbia
2010: MSG2
2012: Music Midtown
2014: Memphis
2018: Wrigley 1, Fenway 1
2022: Nashville
2023: Ft. Worth II
2024: Baltimore
Upcoming: 2025 Hollywood, FL Night 2
No, the N.M.E sucks. The N.M.E have always sucked. Throughout the 80's & 90's when I was buying music papers I never once bought the N.M.E. It's only good for toilet paper.
Ignore them and their silly lists.

I've never actually heard of NME before this post. I like to think of myself as very cut off. I don't have a television and the only time I ever hear the radio is the first five minutes I'm at the gym before the headphones go in and the last five minutes I'm at the gym when the headphones come out. I have never found a music magazine I've liked. Rollingstone, Spin, etc., are all filled with their own politically motivated, mainstream ass kissing, tradition bashing, unciteable, no evidence horseshit agenda. I don't need the lead singer of The Killers telling me that Grunge isn't a genre, that it's just "loud rock." I've listened to almost every contemporary band of the last 40 years and come out of it with Pearl Jam being my favorite. . . I don't need a magazine to tell me why I'm right or wrong in my decision.
One of the happiest days of my life was when I found out Eddie wiped his ass with a copy of Rollingstone at a concert. I'm completely with you man. It seems that that's the only thing it's good for.
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.
There were probably about 20 songs maybe out of the 100 that they picked that i would have on my top 100.
Charlotte 03
Asheville 04
Atlanta 12
Greenville 16, Columbia 16
Seattle 18
