Ah, the life of a healthcare worker, I shall be working....but off on Christmas.

Who else is working?

    Well thank you for working in that field. I know that I wouldn't be able to do work like that.

    Hope you are able to have some leftover turkey sandwitches!!:-)

    It's even worse cuz I work in a Psych ward!!! BUT....we only have 9 patients, so that's a plus. We are getting a dinner at work too...at least we get that if nothing else.

    I'll be one of the servers taking care of the hordes of people who didn't feel like cooking this year...at least we're closed on x-mas day! ;)

    I'm sorry you guys. Many of us have to work on Friday, but it would be really tough to have to work on Thanksgiving. But of course so much of the infrastructure of the country has to work every holiday - nurses, doctors, police, corrections officers..... unsung heros sometimes.

    I'm trying to get some work done this morning (via VPN connection) before heading over to my inlaws for the day. I'll admit that it's nice having a bit of peace & quiet to meself before loudness ensues. Anyway, there's about 8-12 hours of work to do that needs done before I head back on Monday. It all can be done from my laptop at home, though. Still, it's working.

    As you see I'm on here though, thus having trouble being motivated.

    Well, it's almost over...I made it. It's a ghost town around here, kinda nice for a Thursday. The work food was good except for the butternut squash...that made me wanna vomit!
