Yep, standard interconnects for the blu-ray, and a 3.5mm to phono adaptor for the iPod dock.
If you decided you wanted to do this, I'd be more than happy to take a trip to the northern wastelands and help you out with setup etc.
I think this is something I need to do. Nearest Richer Sounds is in Liverpool, I don't drive so I don't fancy carrying all that on the train. Might just have to order online. You're confident this is worth the money?0 -

If I were you, I'd phone Richers, see if they've got a demo room, and if so ask if you can do a demonstration of the kit, find out if it's going to do what you want. They are very good about letting people demo kit. I wouldn't buy anything like that without trying first. The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0 -

It's worth it. Different combinations of kit can produce very different sounding results. What sounds good to one person can be unlistenable to another. I did the seperates thing completely the wrong way, just bought random bits that, based upon reviews, should work together and have been very lucky that they sound great. I'm one for upgrading electronics and I haven't thought about a hifi upgrade, largely because the next upgrade would cost about the same as a 2 week European PJ tour:shock:

Watchin heat on tv great film
Susan crashed and burnt on couch
Beer in hand and off work tomorrow although am headin fur aberdeen
All good
Dave listen to the wise man ian i got my hifi seperates years ago an 1 crap bit of the setup can make the rest of the good bits sound rubish
Best to go to hifi shop with budget in mind an a rough idea of what you want then ask them to connect together an let you hear what it sounds like then you might end up changing one bit to something different than you originally thought
Better to be happy with what you got before you spend rather than wishing you got something different after your homeGlasgow 00

Heat is an awesome film, I haven't seen that in years.
Definitely agree regarding the being happy before buying, having seen a friend spend thousands on hifi kit over the last few years in an attempt to get the perfect match. He did achieve it in the end, but has probably spent upwards of £30K in the process. That said, he doesn't drink or take off around the world to see rock bands! The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0 -

Morning all
Have y'all seen the 90 second taster for Lou Reed & Metallica??? It's terrible... Like an old man in a working men's club doing Metallica karaoke :?
I also watched PJ cover It Happened Today... Sad... Sian is SadBeen to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

Lou Reed should have done this ten years ago, sadly he just cannot cut it any more. The Raven was a great, if slightly bizarre, record but it's time to go gracefully. Otherwise he'll end up like Iggy Pop, selling insurance and miming live.
The It Happened Today cover is awesome. Really like it. But yeah, the loss of REM is sad. The only positive is it now means DBT have to step up and assume the mantle of number one band representing Athens, GA. I think they're up to it. Cooley could do it in his sleep. The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0 -

Hello my lovely euro peeps - been neglecting you lately...
Aaaahhhhhhhh Lou Reed... love him. Seen him so many times at his height (though some gigs were quite weird/rubbish as he was so high). But, alas, yes... one needs to quit while still ahead (even if barely...).0 -

Weird is better than normal any time! At least that makes it memorable!
Just looked at last nights setlist from Edmonton, not only do they get one of the best posters of the tour, but that setlist was immense. I can see me buying the whole Canada tour when the bootlegs come out.The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0 -

Hello Rita,
I hope things are better at home and that you had a fab anniversary, G's cake looked yummy!

Sounds like winter has reached Cornwall...
Trying to convince myself that I should be going out because it's Saturday night, though Exeter was like a warzone when I came through on my way home. Never venture over the rise in that direction unless you have to! Did see a couple of cute WPC's on the way back so it wasn't all bad!The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0 -

Surely you should be out enjoying what's out there to be seen then, not at home having stuffed yourself too full of pizza?
Good luck with the iPod... hope the computer doesn't melt down! I have added Pearl Jam back to mine now. It's the only way I can listen to the soundtrack for the moment  :evil:The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0
