Queensryche -

I've seen Queensryche twice this year on their American Soldier tour. They were outstanding. After their show in Nashville on November 11th, I had meet and greet passes to meet the band. They came out to greet those of us who had passes about thirty minutes after the show. They could not have been any nicer. I had each of them sign a CD booklet that I brought to the show and they were nice enough to allow me to take pictures with each of them as well. There were around twenty or so of us with the meet and greet passes, so it wasn't too crowded at all. They hung around for around a half hour and made sure that everyone had a chance to shake a hand, get something signed, and take a picture. The nice thing about the structure of the meet and greet is that those of us with the passes weren't herded through a single-file line like cattle. We were allowed to casually mingle and move to each band member when we got ready. Very cool experience.
Their shows this tour are divided into three suites. During the first suite they perform songs from Rage for Order, the second suite is from American Soldier, and the third suite is from Empire.

First caught them in 1988 opening for Def Leppard. I didn't know them at that point. They were incredible. Went out and bought their latest album at the time, Operation Mindcrime, the next day. Still one of my top 5 all time albums. Cool to hear you had a great experience meeting them.
