Hi Guys n Gals

I've recently given up a 20yr career in banking to hopefully one day crack this industry as a professional music photographer. I can't begin to imagine had I been able to use my professional lenses. Ha perhaps Pearl Jam need an Aussie Photographer for their US shows in 2010..you never know hey :)

All of my pics for 3 shows are now up, I didn't take many in Sydney rather I focused on filming the songs.
I will upload the videos over the next week or so..I think I need some downtime from looking at my puta & editing LOL

If you're looking for a realiale camera, which I took these photos & filmed, then you can't go past the Panasonic Lumix TZ7 retail for about $600 aud. Keep in mind it's not just a case of taking a picture & getting the results, is does take practice & I've been consistently using point n shoot for 4 years.

    Really well done with the pics, you have some really great shots there, capturing alot of emotion. And can't wait to see more of your vids. I hope your dream does come true, it would be great to have someone with the passion you obviously have for music taking great live shots

    i was a photo major, but never persued it as a career. at most, hoped to teach it as i was an art teacher for a decade...but alas, now i work with accountants. :lol: still a great passion of mine tho - so go for the dream! :thumbup:

    I do photography aswell and use a Lumix too. I didn't take mine to the Syd show cause I wasn't sure security would let it in and they didn't even check anyway. :evil:

    I still have another 200 Brisbane pics to sort through & these will be up in next 24-48hrs

    I think these are far superior to my Melbourne & Adelaide pics, but at times I'm very fussy with my photos.

    No I didn't post any Sydney pics, as I was standing abou 15m back at the intersection of the cross that separates the different sections. I chose to film that night...20 videos...which I hope to start uploading this weekend, need to put the rest of Adelaide & Melb vids up first ;)

    Thanks heaps everyone, I knew that provided I got front row Brisbane that these would be the best set. Brisbane pics have had 750 views on flickr in just over 24hrs :)

    Hope the band get to see them at some stage when they get back home, I know that Mike & Matt will get to see them :)

    Wow- you've put up even more for Brisvegas- I had enough trouble choosing my favourites from the first lot.

    Again thank you so much- they are from practically the same possie/ angle mine were, except mine were crap!

    First of all, love the pics and all the youtube clips too! I recorded a few as well from the Melb concert (youtube PJammerTas). Thanks for recording effort.
    I too have a TZ7 camera, but my photos didn't come out anywhere near as clear as yours. What setting on your camera did you use to take these? I started with a slower exposure for darker light (bad move) so changed the mode to sport and still had problems grabbing a good still, clear picture.
