I would love Pearl Jam to play MLB's Gentle Groove in a concert one day...

  • I'ld like to hear Winterbites. Gentle groove would be cool too.
  • I would honestly pee myself. I've seen PJ a lot and my favorite moment was hearing the beginning notes of Crown of Thorns in Vegas...I weant weak in the knees, Gentle Groove would floor me
If you were my friend, I'd give you the ball on every play.
  • Bone china would be great also, Gentle groove for sure, stargazer is also highly tag worthy

Apple contains so much high quality Gossard, it's all him and right before ten, a creative period for sure.
  • I keep thinking they're going to break out a different MLB song just to throw people off...see who really actually likes MLB. Haha

    +1 million to all this.

Stone & Jeff's playing in MLB is 'classic' to my ears in every sense of the word. I would like to think that if they had never made a PJ record, that somehow i would have still found my way to MLB. If so, i have no doubt their work would have been almost as big as an influence as it is in reality.

And honestly, i heard PJ first, liked 'em, but connected heaviest with Temple first, then PJ, then MLB. So it's possible i guess that i could have never gotten into PJ; went straight to MLB from Temple. Stone's playing is what drew me in most to all 3 of those albums really. I love the band as is, but would love Stone to dominate the next record. Dominate.

i vote Bone China for PJ to play, just by the tiniest bit over Gentle Groove. Stardog would be great also..nothing wrong with Stargazer, or Apple even.....wow....how great would any of those be!!

    cheers to Stone
    cheers to Jeff
    cheers

Totally blown away at SG's progression from Green River to MLB. Yeah, two very different bands but the development astounds me - did as a teen and still does.
