Hey well happy birthday!
and yeah sure, wine is always a good way to celebrate anything. I mean, especially the red kind, preferably something from California. I bet it's so awesome to unwind with the hubby after a long week, just tending to the garden and taking pretty pictures of flowers and whatnot..and yeah sure, birthdays come and go, but you have to make it special each and every year, or else, why even bother celebrating at all, right? ..
I mean, it's one thing to go out and eat, but sometimes it just feels better to curl up on the couch and watch dvds with a nice glass of wine, and it's easier too ..I'm not really sure what I'm getting at, but I had an amazing organic apple the other day and it just knocked me off my feet. well, not literally but figuratively I'd imagine, which reminds me of a funny story I once told in my 5th grade class, but I think I'll save that for a rainy day, or not.

did the 'big celebration' last night and it was AWESOME!
one of the very BEST birthdays in many years...woohooo!
FANTASTIC meal at my fave mex place....great wine......godiva dark chocolate truffles....pumpkin flan! more great wine, went to see some of hubby's bandmates playing a small local gig....and then sure....more celebrating at home.
and BD, it's my birthday...so i got what i want. #3 of course.
more celbrating today. just had an awesome homemade breakfast...hubby is vacuuming :shock: ...and we're off to the movies a bit later. the rest of the afternoon/evening....who knows? :P
so far, being IN my 40s is awesome.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
