unfortunately this is not an isolated case. it's just another example of how the palestinians basic human rights are violated on a daily basis.

israel has absolutely no right denying anyone that. it's sickening.

so i showed this to some of my work colleagues. we're paramedics. they were appalled.

the conversation went something like this.

me: you guys need to watch this video. i won't say anything, just watch it and tell me what you think.
work colleagues: that's bullshit. how come we never hear about things like this?
me: because your guvmint doesn't want you to know. they have been backing and supporting israels illegal and brutal occupation against the palestinians for years. what do you think happens with the $3 billion in direct foreign assistance each year we give them, which is close enough to 1/5th of the US foreign aid budget?
work colleagues: no way.
me: true story. then googles many other examples to show them.

i will never give up on trying to educate people on what actually happens over there. it was the two hour wait time that got to them i think. most of our category one patients would be dead by the time help arrived.

when operation cast lead was going on i was talking to a coworker who was supportive of it, he refused to believe Israel did anything like bulldoze down homes, settlers didn't attack Palestinians....all Israel did was try to live peacefully but are forced to react like this....i had no way of googling anything but he said if that were true things like that would be all over the news....as if GE, a huge weapons manufacturer who even sold to hitler, would air things like that on any of their nbc's.

and not condoning rocket attacks but a lot of the attacks happen at places like Sderot, which used to be a Palestinian village until Israel bulldozed it down. i wonder what americans would do if Mexico did that to a town in Texas or California?

and people claim these organizations like AI or the UN just have it out for Israel but tell me another country that has violated more resolutions, laws, conventions....and had virtually NOTHING done about it? no embargo's no trade restrictions, NOTHING but a whole lotta money and weaponry

how about the USA? if we have not violated more resolutions, laws, conventions, and have had no reprisals, then we are a close second.
