Forecast is for 41 degrees Celsius or about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Its going to be one stinking hot day, hopefully it will rain to cool us off for the evening. Not looking forward to lining up all day...but im doing it anyway.

    Ahhh... hopefully it doesn't get that hot and hopefully it doesn't rain either. Please, please, please give us a decent day, although I would endure pretty much anything to watch Pearl Jam!!

    How early are people going to start queing for tickets?

    Ill be lining up about 11-12ish. Might take an umbrella for portable shade.

    it will be a hot one. not a lot of shade around the entry gates either :o

    They will have to do a sit down chilled acoustic unplugged style set so noone gets heat stroke ;) Shame the venue wouldnt match that type of set.

    Yikes, WTF Australia! Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to a real summer (since NYC's was rubbish this year), but I don't want to go home to 40C either!

    How does getting water even work? We cant bring it in ourselves right? And no one wants to move from their spot either.. Water tips please?

    Security bring water in cups up and down the barrier. Thats why getting near the barrier is ideal... though cups do get passed inwards.

    I drank about 5 cups of water throughout the Melb show and had no toilet issues. Dont go without just for the sake of it, especially today......

    Just a quick question re water, I know you can take in sealed bottles but do they allow small back packs, its been so long since I have been to a GA I have no idea.

    I know people pulled an all-nighter for Adelaide. That is if you wanna get the rail :D And really for some of us, there is no other way! :twisted:

    Generally when you're first taken in, they make you sit down against the rail, so you won't be standing up against the rail the whole time. You should be able to go get water etc, but security do/should supply water. Don't forget to slip, slop, slap ;)
