2009 Adelaide Show V Melbourne Show

Jesus, this tour is un-fucking-believable so far, and I have a feeling it is only just lifting off.
After going to the Perth show, I'd have to say I had a blast, amazing set, but many greatest hits, one for the casual fan aswell.
Adelaide was for the purist, the setlsit gods were smiling on us.... They played a lot of album tracks and it really blew my mind. I've seen PJ 10 times, and this show was easilly the best. I didn't think it was possible to beat this setlist.
I missed Melbourne, but my best mate went ... the updates he provided me with blew my mind ! What a set, does it compare to Adelaide, or beat it. Who knows, I keep changing my mind.
All I can say is Sydney and Brisvegas are in for a real treat ....

I was at melbourne last night and it was truly amazing, the setlist, size of the crowd, etc etc. it was definately the best show i've seen, but in terms of overall experience, is wasnt too far ahead of when i saw the guys at subiaco oval in 06, i had more friends at that gig, it was outdoors on an amazing night which eddie commented on, and that gig just seemed to be back to a high level after 03 seemed a little tired. all up, that just made the subi gig very amazing (not quite as amazing as last night though :P ).
so in short, trying to compare these awesome shows would be a never ending argument i think, each has there better points, i guess for the adelaide gig the venue alone would give it some browny points, but then again, so would the dome with the roof closed.......you could go around in circles for hours debating which is better and why.
All up, Pearl Jam are amazing i dont think you could ever be disappointed with what they do
amazing guys
