Listening to Backspacer in the car

Has anyone noticed how loud the drums are in the mix, or is it just my car? The kick drum is all I hear when I am driving in my car, and I don't think my other PJ cd's sounded like that. It's kinda cool though, the loud kick drum really lets me get into the rhythm of the songs, in a way I haven't noticed before.

PS: On a separate note, I loved the "internet geeks" comment Matt made recently. Way to stick it to em Matty! :thumbup: You are MORE than appreciated by us "more level headed" music fans!!!

    In that interview Matt said Backspacer was one of the two best albums he's been a part of!!! Wow, that's props! (riot act was probably the other one, he never said :) )

    Took me a couple of month and a few shows but now I gotta say Backspacer is a kickass album!

    GOT SOME is slowly becoming one of my favorite PJ songs. It's a hard charger of song..
    Pumps me up every time I hear it.

    mine too....way louder than other albums...but I thought it was just my absolutely AWESOME Bose stereo system in my car, that's ALWAYS on loud!!!! :lol:

    I have no choice but to listen to Backspacer in my car.... it is stuck in my cd player. Could be worse.... ;)
