Wow great show....wish I had toured OZ and saw every show. Can't wait for the bootlegs to come out.

Any idea on the size of the crowd? and was there an echo in the stadium?

I really want to hear this in Brisvegas, the sentiment of this song gets me every time.

And I'm shooting for 4 from 4 Corduroy's!! my bro in law was at the gig in Melb tonight and he called me while they played it, I ran to my car so I could hear it through the stereo via bluetooth. I got a little emotional...!!
I'll swallow poison until I grow immune. I will scream my lungs out til it fills this room.

yeah i saw the Ball Figurine coming out of his leg, but the rest, i guess you stared at it longer then me.

obviously some of the poster has been cut out of the photo, i can't see a date, or mention of liam finn. kinda weird if they are not on there.

the more i look at it the more i want it.

Anyone interested in some poster trading for the Aus/Nz tour?
I have an extra Melb poster i was hoping to trade for any of the other shows.
Is there a thread running for that already?

    Cheers

  • That was just simply amazing. I saw the first 2 shows in LA but this blew them away. They had to shut the roof because of the weather, which just added to the atmosphere in the place. There must have been close to 40,000 in there and it was fucking loud. highlights
    small town - corduroy opener
    brother
    oceans mid set
    given to fly
    evolution closer of opening set
the needle and the fucking damage done.........WOW
red mosquito - indifference with ben
    porch
throw your arms around me with liam
    jeremy was crazy
    spin the black circle
    baba - ledbetter closer
I seriously cannot wait to get my hands on the boot for this. it was just ridiculously good. this was my 14th show, and i thought it would be very difficult to ever beat that myer music bowl gig in 1995, but la topped it and then this trumped it even further. i cannot wait for sydney on sunday night. looking forward to the betteman singalong.
