Going to see AIC for their NY shows on March 8 & 9. Can't wait to hear their new album live and ofcourse their classic ones

If you keep away from the centre you should be OK. The worst of the moshing stayed to the centre and the crowd surfers all ended up there too, the left and right sides weren't too bad - at least for an Alice show where you expect it to be rough!
I managed to get the rail for all 3 shows I got to over here and it wasn't anything like as rough as I thought it was going to be. There were certain songs that got the crowd riled up, mainly the ones with big opening riffs like Them Bones, Dam That River, Man in the Box and Check My Brain but for the most part it was quite survivable. Even in the centre it was nowhere near as bad as it could have been. There was a great atmosphere at all the shows and everyone was just there to enjoy themselves and not make trouble, but... I guess it only takes one or two idiots to change all that.
