Will there be a full BACKSPACER tour?

Been a while, since I posted.. but I just went to 2 more Metallica shows (5th this year) and I see how they have been touring since last year, and they visited the NY area multiple times... im hoping that this will happen, to me it just seems it won't..

Will they stick with the little 10 city tours?
2008 - MSG 6/24-6/25
2010 - Newark 5/18 MSG 5/21
2011 - PJ20 9/3-9/4
2012 - MIA Festival 9/2
2013 - Wrigley Field 7/19 Brooklyn 10/18-10/19 Philly 10/22
2015 - Colbert show - 9/23 Global Citizens Festival 9/26
2016 - Philly 4/28-4/29 MSG 5/1-5/2

    I've been waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting.... for a brief glimpse of hope that they'll return to Toronto in 2010.... The august show just wasn't enough considering Backspacer hadn't been released yet. MORE MORE MORE!!!!!! (pretty please with sugar on top!) ;)

    So yeah, in other words - I feel YER pain!

    I anticipate a full tour sometime beginning in the spring. That's just my feeling, could be right, could be completely wrong.

    Here's to hoping I'm right because the Backspacer stuff kicked ass live.

    sounds like they are anxious to settle down again after these OZ shows... i would predict some mid-late summer shows at the earliest... just speculation though

    Yeah, they will do a tour. Especially an East Coast Tour. I think they will do a late Summer/Fall Tour 2010! (I HOPE!!!)

    I read somewhere that Stone said they plan on taking a couple of years off. Or maybe there's something wrong with my eyes but that's what I thoguht I read anyway. Which is super depressing cuz I've been waiting my whole life to see them and now that I finally can, they aren't coming around. jeez loo-eez.

    They are supposedly takin 2010 off, for a couple new children for members. I would imagine think most of the year will be spent gearing up for the 20th anniversary tour.

    I truly hope they'll tour & come to NY in 2010-- that would be my first show!!! Man, to see them live!
