I've been a fan of Pearl Jam since Ten. Born in Washington D.C. in 1975 of french parents I've been living in France since 1988. In school one day at recess, a friend comes to me with a walkman (tape inside of course) and says "Listen to this". It was "Garden" and then he had me listen to "Jeremy" cause he couldn't speak much english and he wanted to know what these songs were about. I freaked out. It sounded so great to me. I got the album and ever since, and even if I have and love all the albums since, that album has always been the one and only album I can listen to full blast if I'm having a bad day or just feeling down, and like magic, bad day becomes good. That kind of magic has to have consequenses. The first songs I wrote were clearly Pearl Jam rip offs! Today I am a musician in a touring Rock band called "Uncommon Men From Mars". I believe I should thank the band that certainly has inspired me the most. Offering me a dream, to tour, and to write my own music. I have achieved a couple dreams music wise, but still missing is the dream to one day share the stage with my favorite band ever. Thank you for being the way you are. Thank you for your music, thank you Pearl Jam.

Thats a great story-I'm sure it means a lot to PJ to know how they have influenced young artists. I hope your dream comes true - would be nice to have more opening bands with this kind of history.
