At The ROXY...

......blessed by the ROCK GODS last night, I (along with the ever magical COSMO) managed to make my way into a very small club to see THEM CROOKED VULTURES on the eve of their self titled debut! WOW! This is rock n' roll. I'm still in shock that I witnessed that show. They sold the new CD there (that is being released today) so of course a few of us stuck around to see if we could get our new gems signed. I ended up being in the right place at the right exact time and John Paul Jones walked right up to me and signed mine first..........it was pretty surreal. He signed a few more (maybe 5) and then the crowd got too big and he bailed. I hung around to see if I could manage to get JOSH HOMME and DAVE GROHL to sign............Josh snuck out somewhere else and Dave was the last to leave. Totally nice, only signed one girls "BOOK" which was such a treat and well deserved and then...........as he's getting into his awaiting car he spots COSMO and yells "DUDE, I SAW YOU IN THERE!!!" Yep, that's right..........if you know Cosmo, you know what I'm talking about. The guy rules!
Ahhh........doing it all again tonight at the Wiltern!
