In every room a sofa dies

Here is my latest attempt...

Reality is a woman in a red dress
With torn stockings and smeared rouge
Legs open,
Like a whore.
She comes to disrupt
This makeshift peace,
Unheeded by walls or doors.
As she spreads her noisome self

In an abjectly empty room
A house of cards tumbles down.
The jack of spades takes the queen of hearts,
A merchant
A trader
A master of none.
The cups are quite empty,
There is no winning hand.

The inveterate player weeps,
He fills his glass.
The woman in red
Walks away with ill-begotten smile.
A chair rolls over in a corner
But the sofa,
Is the one to die.

Buru.
I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream...
If I knew where it was I would take you there.
