Oreos or chocolate chip .

Tough call you can dunk both but you can only split the Oreo you can how ever put a few chipster's in microwave and melt them uhmmm yummy , yeah i had the munchies last night but i only had Oreo's so i couldn't compare properly :lol::lol::lol:

    Tough call, but you can make chocolate cookies with real butter. The inside filling of the oreos is made with shortening. I'm more of a butter than shortening type of person.

    It's probably possible to make an oreo-esque cookie: 2 slabs of chocolate cookie, and vanilla buttercream dollop on the inside. If you were to compare homemade chocolate chip with homemade oreo-esque cookies, it would possibly be the oreo-esque cookie. You can get to a sugar coma quicker with that dollop of buttercream in the middle. :D

    tough call. there is no topping a good choco chip cookie, but ive also been known to take down whole sleeves of oreos when i get in a dunking mood. i guess i'd lean chocolate chip overall though... a fresh baked choco chip cookie is the best.

    i have the munchies so bad now.

    You do not dunk a chocolate chip cookie like an Oreo. Can't be done. Chocolate chip cookies are at their best right out of the oven, soft, and chewy. Sure, you can eat the chocolate chip cookie, THEN go in for a drink of milk. But it doesn't compare to dunking an Oreo. They're both on different levels when it comes to their identity as a cookie - apples and oranges, if you will.

    Simple; if you are making them yourself then chocolate chip is the way to go. If you are buying pre-made cookies, then regular Oreo's are the best.

    Love chocolate chip cookies. I'll eat them fresh from the oven with a glass of icy cold milk. but I do not dunk them. If I'm baking them, the recipie makes about 4 dozen. I usually end up with maybe 2.5 dozen from "testing" them along the way. So I don't bake them often.

    Oreos? there is a method for me (perhaps for a few others too). Icy cold milk, dunk the whole Oreo in until it stops "breathing" then just pop the whole thing in my mouth. Repeat. I'm with soulsinging, I could eat an entire sleeve of those things in a sitting. and that is why they're not allowed within 100ft of my house.
    believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    Bake them from scratch using the Toll House recipe and you'll never eat another Oreo.
