Hey,
So I've just moved from sunny England to Perth (Australia) and I'm still trying to get my bearings and looking for a bit of help...
So, where's good for live music in Perth? any kookie record shops about? Where do the Pearl Jammers hang out?

Thanks and Hello!

Visited Perth last week (mainly just for the PJ show) and managed to visit a few record shops. There's this big one called 78 Records, somewhere along Hay Street. I liked it because the people there know their stuff.

  • Ah cool, cheers. I'll take a mooch down there this weekend and see what they have.

luke was in the sleepy jackson and is currently doing his thing in empire of the sun. his sister katy is in little birdy.

perth seems to punch above her weight when it comes to bands. youll def find something to tickle your fancy in the local scene.

In that case I do know him and DO like him, he's very clever.
Since arriving in Aus I've also fallen in love with Angus and Julia Stone, whom I don't think are from the West, I need to get out and see some bands, perhaps join a band too.
