**SYDNEY HAS NEVER HEARD "IN MY TREE"**

I've noticed how some requests posted in threads on this board have a mysterious way of end up on setlists so I thought I'd try this one on for size . One of my all time favs that I'm stoked to see is being played 'Jack-style' again this year.

While I'm at it I thought I'd also bring our boys attention to the sad fact that the 'IT'S OKAY' tag has never been played anywhere in Australia...

(unless they played it in Perth on Saturday, I'm trying not to look at the Oz setlists in the leadup to the Sydney show to build excitement and stop myself from making inevitable comparisons in my head while I'm there :P )

ive never heard in my tree live - its my fav song and ive been waiting since 96 to hear it .... im at the wrong show every time.

so this tour - sydney would be great ... or the 3 shows after that. surely this tour.

everything else would just be filling in the gaps. you may say im a dreamer...

Good luck with that. I had a thread begging for Oceans for months before the Toronto and Philly shows.

I've heard "In My Tree" 6 times (4 redux, 2 original). Plus I missed 1 or 2 at some local shows I couldn't make. That is a lot out of 68 total times played. I have never even come close to a show with Oceans, which has been played 66 times ever. I thought it was a lock at the Spectrum. This was the only year they have toured North America and not played it at least once. Add in the promise to play "every" song, got my hopes pretty high. It truly is amazing how many people in the Philly area have never heard Oceans. It has to be the #1 request for most fans in the area.

Lol yeah, b/c 3 of those songs are openers. And no, they won't open encores with them, you'll get Just Breathe or The End to open Encore 1

That's a great list though, i've only seen 4 of those 9. 3 of them in the US, and Can't Keep in Australia in 2003

Snap, I heard Can't Keep in Australia in 2003 too Other than that I've never heard Sleight of Hand, Leatherman or Army Reserve... but this is all useless, since I won't be in Sydney for this tour again, lol.

I've actually seen all of those except HTI in Melbourne before, but certainly wouldn't mind them again

This is actually my first Sydney show since moving here, my dream opener is still RELEASE which I know they've played here a few times before...

i stand corrected. i also see that its never been played in aus. there's a first time for everything (hopefully in syd!).
