From looking at the setlist, Jerry doesn't sing all of those. Very sad that you look at the reforming in such a way, it's great to see them as i actually have a chance to now to see them and hear all these wonder songs live. And surely you mean Jerry did carry them on his back as he sang all the songs? not he should have but sang all the songs? :S But anyway your just wrong. Should have given me your ticket as i would have gone because it was sold out.

they should have hired Ice T ... at least we could hear cop killer .... Woot !!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe u should watch the MTV unplugged and see how much Jerry really does sing ..

i would feel the same way if god for bid something happened to Eddie and they replaced him with Scott Sapp's fake ass ..

the new alice in chains just don't cut it for me .. don't let it bother u ..

How does he suck? he can nail songs like Love Hate Love. SO YOUR SAYING, ALICE IN CHAINS WITH LAYNE SHOULDN'T BE CALLED ALICE IN CHAINS BUT JERRY CANTRELL SOMETHING BECAUSE JERRY DOES ALL THE SINGING. YOU JUST SAID JERRY DID ALL THE SINGING NOW AND DID BACK THEN, SO WHATS THE DIFFERENCE NOW WITH THEM BEING CALLED AIC AND STUFF!

Tried too hard? still dont know wtf that means. He is trying to be a front man at shows, get the crowd going and put on a good rock show. I wouldn't want someone singing AIC if they wern't pouring their heart into it.

Calm down, don't end up getting my thread locked!!

I loved William, his style, his presence and his voice.

I't tragic what happened to Layne and I miss him and his music, but the band took their time and decided what was best for themselves and the AIC legacy. Is he Layne? No. Would it be better to get a Layne impersonator and try to turn back time?? I don't think Jerry, Mike or Sean were looking for a 'replacement' for Layne. It must be really difficult for WIlliam to try and step into Layne's shoes when he was such a legend and a huge part of the band and make the role his own, I think he's doing a great job.

I first saw William in his band Comes With the Fall supporting Jerry back in 2002 so he's obviously known the band for a number years so I doubt it's a 'quick fix' replacement rather something that's been contemplated for some time.

It's a good dynamic and they all seemed to be very much enjoying themsleves - as were the crowd - looking forward to the new era of AIC!

What a gig, one of those venues where everyone is near the front. I was about 8 deep. One guy to the right was sick which caused a hole to open up - sure he must have got a few people (heh, heh)

Sent my mate to the centre with me camera, some great pics, havent a clue how to get them on here though.

Good mixture of old and new, Duvall's energy was unfaltering, Jerry has't aged too well but Mike and Sean haven't done too badly.

They came on late though, Jerry havign problems with equipment apparently (AIC board) and Mike's erm..Mike wasn't on for the oncore - not that it was missed.

Got a Mike and Will pick. Dont have boobies so didn't get a drumstick - if you saw Sean throwing them out you will know what I mean.
