Third Eye Blind fucking rocks. Their songs have meaning in a way that you can interpret in many different ways.

What's your favorites?

I love Crystal Baller, Semi-charmed Life, Deep Inside of You, Graduate, How's it gonna be, Never let You Go, and Jumper.

I liked the first two albums. The third album flopped so bad never heard anything off of it except Crystal Baller.
After that new dairy creamer track I heard I think they have lost it. however, they are a solid live band though.

love 3eb....favorite songs are never let you go, motorcycle drive by, god of wine, deep inside of you, wounded, 10 days late, and the background.
  • I like everything theyve released except that god awful 3rd album, the new I feel lacks a good hit song, but overall is very solid

Admittedly I haven't listened to them for a while but what's with all the hate for the third album?? Faster, Blinded, Hit & Run, Misfits are all good songs, plus there's plenty of half decent ones on there as well, crystal baller, forget myself, wake for young souls to name a few.

Haven't really given the latest one much of a listen, been revisiting Red Summer Sun & Camouflage from Blue alot lately though, great songs I was too quick to overlook. Anything is 1:59 of awesome-ness as well

Well, the first album was a fuckin classic and Blue waspretty impressive as well. The third one was kinda mediocre but the new one is decent enough (although I have to listen to it a few more times to feel it). I would really love to see them perform!

It's sad that Stephan Jenkins is still suing former band members because his ego gets in the way of paying them just compensation for their contributions to the band. Three former founding band members, Kevin Cadogan, Arion Salazar, and Tony Friedianelli were touring as XEB in recent years, but a lawsuit settlement between Jenkins and Cadogan has put a stop to that. Now Salazar is being sued.
In the meantime, Jenkins keeps Third Eye Blind going, playing old tunes with new musicians and without the authentic sound. It's sad.

First 2 albums were really great efforts, front to back. I still love both to this day, especially the Blue Album. However; as others have alluded to, they are not the same band. It’s just the Stephan Jenkins show using the name 3EB. Their sound hasn’t been the same since Cadogan was booted. It’s a shame.

He’s done a great job staying in it tho.  Sugar Ray and Smash Mouth arent playing the main stage of Coachella and ACL in 2019.   He’s improved that band’s credibility ten fold.

Very true. That debut has really became a classic from the 90s. They still play decent size venues. While Sugar Ray and Smash Mouth play casinos and state fairs now.
  • I'm seeing them on Friday, looking forward to it.  I really like this song they released a couple of years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQBbXe7XYe8
