ok this gets sticky-ed but not the one about the ACL airing?

"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
In my Flash Forward, I was listening to "Backspacer." Of course, this made it impossible to tell it apart from my present.
I watched the first 4 or 5 episodes of "Flash Forward." I found the concept genuinely intriguing, but the writing and acting grew more hackneyed and unnatural with each episode.
I am confused about the reference to this as the next single. If "Unthought Known" is the next single, it should be months from release. "Just Breathe" has barely had any chance to break through. (It climbs from #28 to #22 on this week's Billboard Rock Songs chart.) This is where having a record company helps. "Just Breathe" should be worked to CHR/Top 40 radio big-time if the band is interested in maximizing sales of the album. "Backspacer" will likely sell about 500,000 copies like the last couple of albums. There is only one thing that could change that (well, two, if it gets a Grammy nomination in a year-and-a-half): "Just Breathe" becomes a pop hit. If that happened, it could sell 2,000,000 copies. No television appearance would goose sales very much (unless Oprah ordered her viewers to buy it), and no other song has the kind of crossover appeal that would drive sales beyond the core rock market.
I'd like to see it be Force Of Nature- lyrics fit and the feel but with Just Breathe just being released maybe thats
it- we DVR the show- its ok- gonna let me down I see that already but I might just have to tune in tonight
TV Guide has now edited this at least twice. First they had the song listed as Unknown Thought instead of Unthought Known. They also listed it as the new single and have since changed that wording around as well.
Woah... I did not pay attention to this thread ahead of time... but I flipped to ABC on "accident" just in time to catch it.

I disagree with this. It cheapens an amazing song. Network television for Gods sake !
They need to do some appearances on premium networks for sure. Dexter, Californication, and other great shows. Glad it was UK instead of Just Boring though...
PJ needs to be careful with where they place their music.
When I hear "Happy Jack" what comes to mind? ...a Hummer.
When I hear "Baba O'Reiley" what comes to mind? ...CSI and those damn sunglasses coming off.
When I hear "Rise Up" I think of that commercial for Stand Up To Cancer.
It not only gets your attention during the commercial, the product or cause can stay in your head every time you hear the song. While a noble reason for the latter, the former two can really negatively affect the art of a song.
A brief couple of minutes for a one-time broadcast is not a bad way to get music out there. I just hope they don't end up doing commercials for products. I'd skip over The Fixer more often if it were used in a Mr Handyman commercial. Same for Spin The Black Circle if it were used in a Maytag Washing Machine commercial, or Amongst The Waves for a Carnival Cruise commercial.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you.

Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river
it started with the first verse. then it jumped to "dream the the dreams of other men" part. then it went back to "nothing there, nothing left" . then a little music break. then to " a distant time"
