Which studio album, best showcases Mike McCready?

In my opinion, I think it's Riot Act. He's just all over the place in that album. Even Help, Help has a blistering solo. Half Full, All or none... I think that's Mike's album.

    i dunno, i think i agree with the first post. i think mike's work on riot act is fantastic. then again, RA is my top album, so i'm slightly biased in that sense. of course ten is great too though, that goes without saying.

    I would probably go with Ten as well, but my all time favorite Mike solo is on Immortality from Self Pollution radio.

    I think Ten is great and has a lot of quantity. I think the combo of quantity plus the maturity gives Riot Act the edge. I think Mike is a better player at that stage.

    I'm happy, just a little surprised. I think Avocado, to me would be the close-second. Severed Hand / Life Wasted is killer stuff.

    I love Mike's work so much, its a tough one asking for a studio album, probably the early stuff (Ten, Vs)

    Some of the improves he chucks out at the end of yellow ledbetter (live) give me goosebumps every time I hear them.
