Does anyone have one and know where I can get a decent one? I can't afford to frame all my posters, plus I don't know if I want to? Thanks!

Yer it is a big old sales unit, One of the units you find in a record store with posters in. Now I think, it might have been the old Virgin shop. It was years ago. It fits about 40 posters in it on view and it had draws in it underneath. It looked great

    Love my poster portfolio.
I am not rich enough to properly frame them all so this case keeps them all minty fresh.
I got mine thru Jerrys also.
with all the inserts I have it run me approx 200 bucks.

  • I *never* thought of this...

I only recently started collecting the posters from all of the shows I've been to... and I have to start searching for posters I skipped when I was young and dumb...

But I was hating on the idea of keeping them in a tube and having them rolled up forever... but I just don't have the wallspace or $$$ to frame them all... this is the answer!

    Thanks! Christmas list augmented!

Yeah, excepting for not having the $$$$ and wall sapce for framing your poster, I do not see why you would not want to :)
it's like having an album and not playing it... hehhehe

But the poster portfolios is a great idea ...

This is from the outside of the packaging materials for my portfolio.

    " PICTURESQUE PRESENTATION CASE "
by DeSign ( enclosed on the Photos )
    Its dimensions are 24 " x 36 " .
They are rather large inserts and they fit some of the more
uncommon sizes- such as Klausens 2005 Atlantic City Prints .

  • i would save your money and just buy a large hardcover book and some acid free tissue paper. seriously, those portfolio books are like 60-250 bucks. I bought a large hardcover book for 20 bucks and some paper for 5 bucks, total after tax like 30 bucks, seriously those art portfolio books are for when you go to a job interview and show off your large drawings, blueprints or paintings, you don't need one to store posters, they are a waste of money.

Anyone have any coupon codes for either site by chance? It seems like they both run them sometimes, and I'm finally ready to get a portfolio for storing my nicer ones instead of storing in bags/backers.

Also - for the Picturesque portfolios - how many refills can they fit?

    thanks!!
