DVD onto Ipod?

Does anyone know if/how I can get my PJ dvds onto my ipod? Thanks for any help

    it's nearly frickin' impossible. you have to have certain programs, and jump through a bunch of hoops. you might even need a cape with a big S on it to make it work. I've never been able to get it to work. it's probably much more effort than it's worth. PJ DVD's need a big screen anyway. ;)

    I think at one point I bought the last one, Imagine in Cornice, or whatever its called, for like $1.99 on itunes. Not sure if it is still that cheap, but you can check.

    it can be done. i have a couple of movies rippped from dvd on my ipod

    i had to use two pieces of software to do it. one to rip the dvd to the computer hard drive and one to convert that ripping to a ipod acceptable format.

    its good for long trips

    i forget what i used to rip from the dvd, but handbrade converted it to ipod format

    i use some software called DVDfab, it will rip a DVD directly into ipod/iphone friendly format. i use it all the time on redbox rentals

    I use handbrake on my Mac. There's a windows version too. Easily converts most DVD's to ipod video.

    it's really easy, go to slysoft.com and download clone dvd mobile.

    what about you tube clips onto ipod, while we're at it, i was wanting to put some youtube clips onto my ipod, but have never gotter around to looking into or how to do it.????

    Use Firefox as a web browser.

    Install the Add-On called "FlashGot."

    Load the web page with the video you want.

    After the video has completely loaded, click on the FlashGot Icon (on the bottom right of the browser).

    The video will download in .flv format.

    Use another program to convert from .flv to the desired format.

    Cucusoft Ultimate DVD & Converter Suite is easy to use. It also allows for a lot of different output files, so you just set the output to ipod video (you can also make avi files and others). It shows the chapter points and allows you to burn each chapter individually or one big file. Once you get past the learning curve of the program, it really works great.

    One drawback is that it takes a long time to convert. Figure a 60 minute dvd can take 30-60 minutes to convert.
