I heard a song by them on Sirius today and really liked it. A search here reveals that some of you are fans of theirs. Is there a particular cd or group of songs or some place to begin with them?

  • Saw them live at ACL a few years back. Seemed alot like a Ramones rip off.
  • Employment, their first record, is probably a good intro. New wave/britpop sounding record

If you are into british indie rock, this band is for you.

Worst band ever, band of really shitty indie music that came through the uk scene a few years ago...

Very fun band. Great catchy songs...fun live show!
  • A third-rate Blur tribute band, with a smarmy arse-hole for a singer. It's the equivalent of buying a Creed record instead of a Pearl Jam record in my book, the original is nearly always better!

I'm a fan saw them back in '05 at the TLA in philly. They put on a decent show. Also they played Live 8 here a few months later.

Yeah I would probably say their first album Employment is their best. What song did you hear Ruby? That's probably their most famous single or I Predict A Riot.

honestly I can't recall the name of the song. It was being played accoustic in the studio.

Thanks for your input everyone. Even the haters. :P

  • I like them. I only have their first album though (Employment). But I think that if you liked their sound then that is a good album to buy.

what the hell happened to this band? First three albums were real good. Last two albums weren't that great and this upcoming album looks to be even worse.
