Just curious if there is a site where you can enter the pearl jam shows you've been to, and be given a breakdown of songs seen, rarities, etc. If anyone knows of a site that does this i would like to check it out! Thanks

  • It used to be on theskyiscrape but it don't think that site exists anymore. It would be great if a new site like that started up again or pearljam.com added a section for that.

thay give all of the setlists right here on the homepage click on "TOUR" all of the setlists are on the left side...when you click on a year the shows come up then you can see the setlists...when you open one of them you can click on any song and it will tell you how many times they've played it, when they played it first, when they've last played it, whether it's an original or a cover, when it was released by the band, etc.

I'm a stat nerd and have been hoping/plotting a way to get stats to generate on a site for a loooooooooong time.

I've been using this site to generate my Phish stats since the late 90's.

    http://www.ihoz.com/perstats.html

It is awesome. Try typing in a few shows and see how the stats break down.

EDIT: After picking shows make sure to select "Show Everything" in the drop down menu.

  • that was a great feature!
wish i utilized it more when it ws around.
was great to see all the tunes you've heard live, how many times, etc.
guess i could do an excel spreadsheet....but i really should do so for a lot of other things before my personal pj live stats.

Well, if anyone is willing to make a website with this info, I'm sure PJ would gladly give you their spreadsheet of songs per show, to date, to make it work.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

  • I made a spreadsheet after the 4 shows in Philly. I've been to 30 shows now, and the spreadsheet took me about 2.5 hours to do. I listed each studio album, misc songs and covers and put the date that I heard each song. Its pretty cool to look back at it and see the songs I've seen many times and songs I've only seen once or 2x.

    Some highlights:

i've now hit 30 shows with the 10.31 gig as well.

2.5 hours...ouch. granted, someday in a fit of utter boredom, i might get round to it....but 2.5 hours i really should dedicate to either more important tasks....or really fun tasks.

128 different songs in 15 shows. not bad. obviously the more shows you go to the more repeats you will have. not sure exactly what the stats were, but you could've probably heard close to that many different songs if the only shows you went to were the 4 philly shows this year.

Oh no, you're not the only one... there's lots of us geeks here ;)

My geek sheet provided the following... from 18 shows seen: 128 different songs

Even Flow - 16 (not played in 2 Philly shows)
Alive - 16 (not played in 2 Philly shows)
Corduroy - 16 (not played in 2 Philly shows)
DTE - 14 times from 15 shows (it didn't exist the first 3 times I saw them)

The only 2 full albums I've seen are Vs and Backspacer... I guess I could count Yield and Vitalogy (aside from Untitled, Aye Davanita, Foxymop, Pry To).

    Still to hear:
    No Code
    Red Mosquito
    Around The Bend

Binaural (which I'd barely heard any of until Philly)
    Breakerfall
    Gods' Dice
    Thin Air
    Sleight of Hand
    Soon Forget

    Riot Act
    Get Right
    Help Help
    All Or None

    Avocado
    Big Wave
    Army Reserve
Glaciers melting in the dead of night and the superstars sucked into the supermassive.

I would pumped for a site like this because I think I have a slightly flawed perception of certain songs that are considered "rare." I have only been to eight shows, but just quickly scanning the setlists show that I have seen them play "smile" three times. Pretty good odds. But, looking over this site there are people who haven't seen them play the song in 20-30 shows! All this talk about a spreadsheet makes me want to make my own :D:D
