almost 15 yrs it took me to even consider going to one
for a few months I was actually looking forward to one
but all it took was a moment of clarity to smack me back
into reality and realize that most of them can still suck it!
200 or so people and half of them fake
I wish them all and their families well but ...
I'm not putting myself through that shit again

maybe I'll give the thought a try again in about another 15
after everyone knows what life's about--and they're just happy to
get together with old friends who are still ALIVE--still holding onto
life and struggling like the rest of us--among those who know that
life is short and not worth passing judgement

the ball's in your court bitches!!
Well yea they CAN still suck but you may see how your impressions were also wrong about some people. You might make new friends or at least see people in a new light and you can always ignore the people who don't live up to your expectations I guess.
You never know who you might meet- I met my husband at our 5 year and we go to them all including our 35th this past Sept. FUN! And you are right the older people get the nicer they get- the bullshit is gone- we seem to all be in the same boat.
My husband said- "look how popular you are now!"- knowing I was not at all in high school- its just fun to see everyone age- hear about their lives- and mourn for the classmates that have left this world.
I say don't hold back- go- you might be pleasantly surprised :)

I'm pretty sure most of the people at my reunion would live up to my expectations. I expect most of them to still be assholes. ;)
    Peace, Love.

thanks for being a positive light. I know I should go sometime. I really do want to see some of the people before we all start croaking away. I can be such a bitch sometimes. it takes so much more energy to be a bitch and hold a grudge than to just not care and be laid back. and I want to live a long time so I should save up all my energy for the future.
I don't know about the energy thing but finding peace in your life makes a person a lot happier. Might not make you live any longer but you'll die happy :)
