Saw Springsteen Crowd Surf 11-10-09

Ok PJ is my fav BUT I love a good Bruce show too! In cleveland, last night the 60 year old (or so) freakin leaped into the crowd of a sold out full house show!!! Come on Ed, your SO much younger! Get out there & crowd surf!!! That would have been great @ Philly4!!!! I'd of died!!!

    I think Ed faked a jump into the crowd...too bad bc the crowd would've shit a brick.

    I didn't go to the LA shows but I'm pretty sure I saw Ed do it in 1 of the Philly shows.

    I remember him fake running & acting like he was going to jump! He was on Stones side & faked it like 2 or 3 times, LoL.

    Can some please explain the appeal here? And yes, I saw Bruce do it too. While I can listen to Eddie sing all day and would love to meet him in person, I have absolutely no interest in touching him.

    First off if u read correctly I said PJ was my #1. Also I said 60 or so. Technically I was right. Last, the man I went with saw Bruce since the 80s & NO he does not always crowd surf. Of the 15 times I saw Bruce last night was the 1st. So U get with it my friend...

    Yes I could listen to Ed my idol ALL day sing & I did shake his hand June 12 @ Tower theatre. Its on youtube, I'm not lying. It would just be cool & something to brag about if you got to pass Ed back to the stage. My opinion...

    He's only done it since Saturday October the 3rd. I was in the pit against the rail. I couldn't see Bruce over the crowd, but turned around to watch it on the big screen and saw that all the back stage help, etc were on the stage and taking his picture and videos. And the look on Steve's face was priceless.

    I see how you only wanted Ed to engage in this crowd surfing thing.
    I think at one time this used to be standard practice for Ed , while this is not exactly a new thing for Bruce ( ie : see Hammersmith Odeon show from 1978 from B2R package - ) granted its probably been a few years since he's done it regularly night in and night out .

    Theres an entire other section on here,... over from the porch
    under " other music "
    we've had a bruce thread going for sometime.
    We've even mentioned it in the thread about the reemergence of the crowdsurf.

    Correct, he hasnt been doing it every show on this tour, only since oct 3. I was in the pit also for that show, everyone was going apeshit when we realized he'd be making his way back to the stage right over our heads!

    I was at the Bruce show in the front when he jumped into the crowd. I accidentally got a handful of Bruce's crotch(I'm kind of grossed out!). Anyways, it felt like he had some very small balls. Just in case anyone was interested in knowing.

    he also had GA on the floor from what I hear. Cmon PJ, if Bruce's fans can handle GA, so can you. I'm tired of lame seats on the floor :(

    My coworker was at that show last night and it sounded awesome. I'm kicking myself for not going :(
