Does anybody have a Google Voice invite they could send my way? I'm hearing great things and I'm tired of using Verizon's voicemail service. I had YouMail for a while but wasn't going to pay for the voicemail to text feature. If anybody can PM me an invite, I'd really appreciate it.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

    Just request an invitation at http://www.google.com/voice. You should get an invitation in about a week. It took me two days to get my invite when I requested it a few weeks ago. And it IS pretty cool! On top of that, got to personalize my number...

    I requested the invitation so I guess I'll have to wait...unless somebody has an invite they can send my way. :D

    I recall vaguely hearing something about Google Voice. While I could google it... I'm lazy. What's GV all about again?

    You use it instead of your normal voicemail. They will text you a transcript of your voicemails so you don't have to listen to them. This is great if you're at work and can't listen to the message but are able to check your text messages. You can also set it up to play custom voice messages for specific callers. Pretty cool from what I hear.

    Google Voice is cool, but the transcription is mostly worthless at this point. Still, I enjoy using it. Cool to get emails of people calling (with .wav files) since I can use the internet at work, but not my cellphone...

    Still never got an invite. I've since switched to the iPhone and pretty much forgot about Google Voice. Anybody have any feedback?
