good to hear that im not the only one alone on a saturday night watching that completely unfunny show ;). yes, it was a cute lil impression of ed ved.

Yea, tonight overall kind of sucked!!

I was starting to think SNL was getting it back together, but then a show like tonight happens.

The Adam Duritz part of the sketch was freaking brilliant though!!!

I'm pathetically sitting on the couch on this Saturday night as well. The Eddie impression came during a skit about the fake soundtrack for the fake movie, "Bunny Business". Musicians mocked other than EdVed were Shakira (Taylor Swift), Adam Duritz from Counting Crows, Jennifer Hudson, Natalie Merchant, and a couple others. Anybody remember who duetted with Eddie? It went by pretty fast. By the way, it was a typical early 90's Eddie impression featuring indecipherable grumbling.

Nice work on the picture, brainofe. I didn't even catch who he was duetting with on the first viewing... I was just focused on Hader's impression of Eddie. Too bad the real EdVed wouldn't make an SNL appearance with the rest of PJ in the near future!!

That's pretty funny. I was watching sports highlights the other night and they mentioned pearl jam during a fight in the flyers game:

  • the skit sucked...way too much like a MadTV sketch...I've always preferred SNL over MadTV because it seemed like MadTV just made up random shit and thought it was funny, SNL was actually funny, but it's sucked ever since Will Ferrel left, even then it was going downhill...they've been becoming more like MadTV which sucks.

though that EV impression was pretty good...all the impressions were pretty spot on, i'm glad to see SNL still has an edge over MadTV with impressions.

    sorry for my rant

A very unfunny show, despite the best efforts of the amazing Taylor Swift.
