  • Pearl Jam vinyl is all hype. All they do is take the CD and make vinyl from it. A waste of time and money.

As someone said above Binaural may sound good with headphones but it depends on the headphones. I've come to learn from experience, you really need an expensive pair of headphones to truly enjoy music like it was meant to be enjoyed.

Everyone is walking around with these lame ipod earphone things and they complain about the music sounding like shit, too much compression, blah blah blah.. So if you haven't already, go out and buy some top of the line headphones, and you will hear what PJ is supposed to sound like.

  • Into The Wild :D
  • No code sounds fantastic on vinyl... but the Self-titled record sounds so much better on vinyl than cd it's ridiculous.
  • Self titled has the biggest improvement.

But No code sounds the best :D
yield, binaural and vitalogy all sound amazing too.

oh and i love my riot act vinyl.

  • I'd like to throw Backspacer out there...it sounds fucking incredible.
Not to sound too elitist, but I'm confident that if everybody listened this album as it should be played- on vinyl with proper speakers/headphones- there is no way Johnny Guitar would be consistently ranked so low. The bassline during "And I sleep with the light on"...

No Code sounds fine, but it's not anything special sonically, imo.

Backspacer is the only one that sounds bad.
  • Love listening to No Code & Vitalogy on lp.
