The prices for these things are absolutely ridiculous.

And they'll probably sell every single one, the bastards.

im not attached to the Spectrum. Im a Buffalo guy, who happens to be displaced in Philly 80% of the time.

From the classic Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, I was able to obtain 3 blue level seats, a limestone brick, and a section of the Sabres' dasher boards. I have no remorse for paying for those things and they will look great in my furnished basement. Some great memories there.

If your on the fence, buy seats.

Yeah well you better sterilize the hell out of em, I hear they come with a complementary lacing of Philly H1N1, just like the strain I caught from there on the final night (*cough cough*) :lolno:

I saw some guy cut the plastic wire tie that held the row of chairs together, and just pick up one folding chair and walk right past security with it after Sat nights show had ended. I thought about taking one and putting it up on ebay but getting back uptown with that on the train might have been a little sketchy.
  • I ended up buying a single seat. I have so many memories of that place. My first show was in 1970 with Sly and the Family Stone (Sly actually showed up!) I was at the last two nights of the Pearl Jam run and knew I would end up buying a seat if they became available. A bit of history for my music room!

Gotta have one if you've spent any amount of time at the Spectrum. I view it as my final night with Pearl Jam and I had a folding chair at the show so...it's my Pearl Jam momento...lol.

You'd think taking some garbage off their hands wouldn't cost so much.

Whats the history on these? They must have had their covers/pads replaced regularly?

Some of them say Corestates Center, First Union Center, Wachovia Center...

They just buy new ones if the old ones get trashed...
