Backspacer live?

Just wondering how the songs from the new album have sounded live.
Have they changed up any of the arrangements or jammed out any of the songs?
Do any of the band members seem to really respond to any particular songs?
Anything kind of pop and make you reevaluate the song or stand out as an instant classic?

  • From the two shows that I saw, they didn't change up the new material at all, but the songs are so short and punchy, there was never really any room for that anyway. The band seems to be in such a good place and loving all of the new songs. They seem to be really proud of the material in general. The crowd really responds to The Fixer. The "yeah, yeah, yeah" parts get everybody singing.
Out of all the new sings, the Just Breathe and The End sound great, but Unthought Known really takes the cake.

I thought "Force of Nature" was a real highlight from the Oct 30 show; it was great live.

The new songs they played the two nights I was there (10/30 & 10/31) sounded nothing short of fantastic, flawless, and even more amazing than on vinyl!!! The band was extremely tight even with older material, as well as, never played before material!! I am certainly glad I was able to attend!! Thanks 10 C for a first row ticket in the first section in the wings!!! And thanks to the photographer that gave the picture of my daughter and Eddie together in Montreal to Ed!!
  • Speed of Sound live is pretty cool, it's doesn't have the over the top production of the album version so it kind of sounds like the demo version but more polished like the album version if that makes sense.
