I've dated guys who have pointed out good looking women and it doesn't bother me or make for the #1 reason they're an ex. I don't see the harm in it. Depends on the relationship. If it bothers your gf, perhaps you should put on your brain to mouth filter when it comes to other good looking women.

If a girl gets upset by that and can't be open about things like (vise versa) that then perhaps that's not really a healthy relationship, and certainly one I don't want to be involved with.

Well I was talking about how I think it makes for a healthy relationship and you mentioned how that is "counter-productive".
