Remember you saw it here first!!! LOL! Anyway, what if 10 Club offers all 4 Philadelphia shows in a limited edition cardboard or stock paper replica of the Spectrum? I picture it to be around 2 1/2 - 3 inches in height. How amazing would that be?!!? It's do-able I think! The Spectrum is round, CD's are round...They could include a little booklet with Pearl Jam's history with the Spectrum, photos, or whatever!!!!! I think $50-$55 would be a reasonable price. Any of you creative fans out there want to work on a prototype? Send me a message and let me know what you have in mind!!!! Let's see that creativity!!!!

It should be noted that my family had some serious sentimental ties to the Philadelphia Spectrum. My Great Uncle, Harold, was the very first president of the Spectrum (1967-1970). It was an honor to help bring down, after so many wonderful years, what he took such pride in helping begin in our great city.

Take Time,

i like the way you think!
i hate to bring this band's name up, but the Dead's recent Live Egypt rockin the cradle release was real cool, and something along those lines/what you're saying would be amazing.

I like the idea of the cardboard replica of the Spectrum.

Then we can smash it with a hammer to commemorate the band demolishing the real one and the way the Yankees demolished the city's beloved Phillies

Just joking (slightly)... I think a special set like the Gorge would be a great idea.

  • Box set that comes in a Devo hat. ;)
  • They should have a commemorative picture book of the line to get OUT of the restrooms. I've never seen such shit. It took longer to get out than to get in. It was like the bizarro world.

Seriously... I like your idea but who needs all the flash.

Yeah... it would be great if they put this together (or something similar) but are you willing to wait 6 months to a year for it to come out? There alot of shit involved in what you are asking (and I'm not even taking into consideration what it would take to gain the rights to use the image of the Spectrum; well... let me restate that: I'm not sure how much cash it would take to gain the rights to use the image of the Spectrum).

Personally.... I would perfectly content with they way it's done now: Plain and simple. I just want to hear them and, more importantly, I want to hear them UNEDITED: All the miscues, Eddie's banter, I'd even be happy if they left in the sound of the crowd during the encore breaks.

But again... I want them now!
