Has anyone had success, if so, how'd you do it? I followed the link above and filled in the info and it won't let me. It's like once you sign up you're stuck with facebook.

Facebook sucks, and now it appears they do not let people delete accounts.

Yes you can, you request to delete it and do not visit the site for two weeks and it works, at least it did for me
Don't come closer or I'll have to go

Well I tried over and over, nothing, and it appears like they are impossible to contact.

Well, this is useful information! I'm still not on facebook although my friends keep encouraging me. One more thing to keep in mind. :wtf:   :problem:

you can delete it. my brother deleted his when he started teaching and had no problems. i think you do have to wait after you cancel it. i feel like ive done it before, or something similar anyway. you go through the hoops, then you cant look at the site at all for 2 weeks or it automatically cancels your deletion and you're stuck with the facebook and have to start over.

the key is not to visit the site, are you keeping up with that part of the instructions?

  • I have deactivated account due to a background check in the past. It takes all of your information out of there! Go to account settings, and deactivate account. The cool part is if you ever want back in you can reactivate the acccount by just logging in. Once you have deactivated the account you can search for yourself through google and your page should be gone.
  • I hate Facebook with a passion. It's responsible for millions of people telling the entire world their every waking move. Sitting in front of a computer, answering questions like "which retro sweet are you?" - I mean what the hell is that about?

'n is a fan of sleeping'. Someone even put on 'is a fan of not being on fire'.

Facebook is a disease, stay away from it.
It's gonna be a glorious day...
