What song was playing before Pearl jam went on stage? It was playing when they were setting up the stage.

    It's not the Philip Glass song, at least not the song I'm thinking of. They were playing it at the shows this year, while the crew is setting up and up until the intro music.

    kind of a new-agey type song. Playing for a long time as the lights are on, stage is being set up, people filing in, etc...

    kind of catchy and has become a part of my Philly experience.

    I believe its the same song they used as people were filing out of the venues in 08... I remember trying to figure it out then, and now again this year.

    The 4 shows I saw this tour used phillip glass intro, as well as the shows I saw last year...

    The 4 shows I saw this tour used phillip glass intro, as well as the shows I saw last year...
    The guy isn't talking about the music immediately before the band come out, he's talking about what's playing while the crew are setting stuff up on stage - BEFORE the band intro music comes on.

    I understand this isnt the song everyone is talking about... But now everyone can have the phillip glass piece. Its been my screen saver music since last tour. Its good stuff. :twisted:
