If they actually play him consistently he could hit another 10-15 in the 50+ games left. He's hitting better than Mark Teixeira. But Mark is able to play first base. But as I've pointed out they have a winning record when he's in the lineup. So he hasn't been hurting them much.g under p said:Does AROD have it in him to hit 4 more home runs for 700? I doubt it he's hardly had a chance to start.....I think even he knows the end is near.
Peace
Also, not many players have hit 700 homeruns. I would like to see someone on my favorite team do it in my lifetime. I missed out on Ruth doing it by being born 44 years too late.I miss igotid880 -
god did tanaka get roughed up last night! I hope we take the next two at the stadium.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

I had no clue they were that good down the stretch. 35-15 is sick!igotid88 said:
Yea but they played great down the stretch in 95 to make to the playoffs. Something like 35-15. Don't quote me on that. But somewhere around there. They'll need to do the same thid year.mcgruff10 said:I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
I was talking about the Yankees not being able to take advantage of the loaded bases at the end, and being beat by shitty teams not the Yankees being shitty. Tampa Bay swept the Yanks and they are the bottom of the barrel. All the other decent teams, we do okay.igotid88 said:
Yankees are not a shitty team. They're an average team.crookedcross said:Would've been awesome to take advantage of the loaded bases there at the end but I'll take a winning run. Why is that we beat good/decent teams but to the shitty ones we fold

Alex hit his 500 and 600th hr on Aug 4. He has great numbers against Colon. I know they were mostly in the past. But wouldn't it be great if he had a 4 hr day today?I miss igotid880

Tex retiring. Big fan. Crazy how little turnover the yanks have had at 1st in my lifetime. Bird's turn...0

Damn that was fast. I was thinking to myself that I wouldn't mind if the hit by pitch would keep him out for awhileCliffy6745 said:Tex retiring. Big fan. Crazy how little turnover the yanks have had at 1st in my lifetime. Bird's turn...
