Does AROD have it in him to hit 4 more home runs for 700? I doubt it he's hardly had a chance to start.....I think even he knows the end is near.

    Peace

If they actually play him consistently he could hit another 10-15 in the 50+ games left. He's hitting better than Mark Teixeira. But Mark is able to play first base. But as I've pointed out they have a winning record when he's in the lineup. So he hasn't been hurting them much.

Also, not many players have hit 700 homeruns. I would like to see someone on my favorite team do it in my lifetime. I missed out on Ruth doing it by being born 44 years too late.

Yankees will go 38-20 then next 58 games

That would be sick! 96 all over again.
I think it was 95 when they went on that run.
True but they choked against Seattle. 96 it all came together.
Yea but they played great down the stretch in 95 to make to the playoffs. Something like 35-15. Don't quote me on that. But somewhere around there. They'll need to do the same thid year.
I had no clue they were that good down the stretch. 35-15 is sick!

Would've been awesome to take advantage of the loaded bases there at the end but I'll take a winning run. Why is that we beat good/decent teams but to the shitty ones we fold

Yankees are not a shitty team. They're an average team.
I was talking about the Yankees not being able to take advantage of the loaded bases at the end, and being beat by shitty teams not the Yankees being shitty. Tampa Bay swept the Yanks and they are the bottom of the barrel. All the other decent teams, we do okay.

When I typed this I thought ARod would be the everyday DH. But since it doesn't look that way. I'm gonna change it to 30-28

Alex hit his 500 and 600th hr on Aug 4. He has great numbers against Colon. I know they were mostly in the past. But wouldn't it be great if he had a 4 hr day today?

If ARod can't get into the lineup against a pitcher he owns. He's never going to play

Damn that was fast. I was thinking to myself that I wouldn't mind if the hit by pitch would keep him out for awhile

I think it's a mild-surprise. His body has taken a beating the last few seasons.

He had a real nice career.
